Job Summary

The Senior Data Manager is a key leadership role at the heart of our Data & IT function. You will take full ownership of all database operations, integrations and data governance whilst enabling data initiatives and system enhancements. The role will leverage automation, data workflows and business intelligence tools to improve efficiencies, insight and scaleability. In particular you will have responsibility for the management, optimisation and continuous improvement of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems provided by Raiser's Edge (RE) and ensure full compliance with UK GDPR requirements. This includes the vendor service contract.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic thinking with operational excellence. It involves improving systems workings and integrations, strengthening data quality and enabling business functions to perform at their best. You will be a visible and credible leader who works collaboratively with colleagues across the charity to understand business needs and translate them into technology solutions. This will involve especially close collaboration with the Senior IT Manager and team.
